By | Australia, General Travel, Trips, Victoria | No Comments

Wineries of the Healesville Yarra Valley Region One of Australia’s premier wine and food regions is the Healesville Yarra Valley Region. As we’d only spent a few days on our last stay, we were keen to revisit the area as it has so much on offer, cellar doors, dairy farms and cheese tastings, animal sanctuaries, National Parks and day spa’s, you could spend a month in the area and still not see everything on your list! This was our second visit to the Yarra Valley in as many years and while it’s always tempting to go back to old favorites…

What We Saw In Marysville Victoria

What We Saw In Marysville Victoria Staying at Woodlands Rainforest Retreat, Narbethong, gave us quick access to the surrounding areas of Marysville Victoria and Healesville, as it’s around halfway between both towns. The towns are linked by The Black Spur Road and could easily be argued as one of Victoria’s, if not Australia’s best drives, as it winds through a beautiful rainforest displaying tall, straight trees and ferns. Prince Charles has even planted a tree there! If you feel up to it you can climb the 90 stairs up the narrow spiral staircase…

6 Top Things To Do In Daylesford and Hepburn Springs Daylesford and Hepburn Springs followed our time in Melbourne where we caught up with friends and relatives, saw a little bit more of Victoria and attended a fantastic conference to learn more about the Travel Membership/Club that I had joined last year. This part of the trip was to relax, unwind, explore, sleep-in and see a part of Australia neither of us had seen. We weren’t disappointed! Dubbed “The Spa Capital of Australia” Daylesford and Hepburn Springs lie approximately an hour and a half away from Melbourne if traveling by car. It’s…
